Pacific is an adventurous geometric sans serif with painterly flair. It was designed for use in a series of books called the Some Place Chronicles, which highlight the unique character of six “unincorporated areas” in Los Angeles County. The typeface is an unusual marriage of the mechanical structure of geometric sans serifs and the independent spirit of hand-painted signs.
